Glen Cove Annual Howl’oween Pet Parade

Glen Cove’s furriest residents are invited to participate in the Fifth Annual Howl’oween Pet Parade. People and pets alike are encouraged to dress in costume and participate in several contests being held. Prizes will be awarded in six categories. Past parade entrants have included dogs, cats, guinea pigs, parrots and even a snake, with pet costumes ranging from super heroes to witches and even a horse. Registration required.

Dedication of Women's Suffrage Historic Marker
The City of Glen Cove and The Long Island Woman Suffrage Association will host the dedication of a new Glen Cove Woman Suffrage historic marker at 3 p.m. on Dosoris Lane. The historic marker recognizes the role of Glen Cove Suffragists Helen Sherman Pratt and Florence Gibb Pratt. More information.
