Garvies Point is about to become the new go-to destination for activities on land and sea.
Outdoor enthusiasts can look forward to walkways and trails connecting to a nearby Garvies Point Preserve plus scenic bike paths. A mile-long waterfront esplanade will be a hub of activity with restaurants, three marinas and launches for boats, kayaks and standup paddleboards, flanked by a boardwalk and beach. Twenty-eight acres of open space are being reserved for playgrounds and parks–including one for dogs. The centerpiece of Garvies Point will be a new amphitheater for live outdoor entertainment. Garvies Point will also be an access point to Glen Cove’s Ferry Terminal with future marine service to New York City.
