National Night Out Sponsored by the Glen Cove Police Department
6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Bridge Street, Downtown Glen Cove.
Families are invited to this free event featuring activities, food, and entertainment.

Nicholas Pedone 5K
8:30a.m. to 11:30a.m. at the Glen Cove High School
Come run or walk while making a difference in the lives of children fighting cancer.

Saturday, September 16
International Coastal Clean-up Day
9:00a.m. at Pryibil Beach and Morgan Memorial Park.
Nearly 12 million people and counting have been part of the world’s biggest volunteer effort to protect the ocean.

Glen Cove Soccer Parade
10:00a.m.
Meet at Finley Middle School horseshoe, and march to John Maccarone Memorial (City) Stadium.

E-Waste Collection Day
9:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. at DPW Yard, 100 Morris Avenue
Eligible items include: TVs, VCRs, Stereos, Electronic Games, Printers, Fax Machines, Computer Monitors, Laptops, Hard Drives, Keyboards, Mice, Cables, DVRs, Cable Boxes, and Cell Phones.
